Separate the measured condition from the sensor circuit
An oil-pressure sensor code is not the same as verified low oil pressure, and an idle-speed code may reflect an air leak or throttle condition rather than an idle valve. Read the exact definition and confirm the physical condition when safety is involved.
Look for shared causes
